A Fair that Reflects Innovation and Change in Design
This year, the Habitat Valencia fair not only showcased innovative products and designs but also focused on how design is responding to growing market demands, especially in terms of sustainability and personalization. According to Daniel Marco, director of the event, the growth and massive participation in the fair are testimony to the renewed interest in design as a key tool for business competitiveness.
The agenda of activities was very extensive with conferences, showcooking, presentations and round tables very interesting. The INNOVA INDUSTRIAL DESIGN team was able to attend the conference “Matter and Pattern Trends 25-26. Trends on colour and materials.”
Interior and product design is constantly evolving, and following up on emerging trends is essential for any professional in the sector. During the Habitat Valencia 2024 fair, Formica Group Europe and Futurea presented a complete study on the transformations that will mark the future of materials and colors. They highlighted four key concepts that will define the next stages of design: Reclaimed Beauty, Synthesised Nature, Dark Hedonism and Hyper Funtionality.
Sustainable Innovation and the Role of Personalization.
In parallel with the trend presentations, the fair also highlighted the growing importance of sustainability in furniture production and interior design. Brands such as Andreu World and Actiu, recognized for their commitment to sustainability, presented innovative solutions that seek to reduce the environmental impact without sacrificing quality or style.
A Meeting Point for Design Professionals
In addition to the exhibitions, the Habitat Valencia Fair was highlighted as a networking and collaboration space between professionals from around the world. Designers, architects, manufacturers and distributors met to share ideas, establish partnerships and discover new business opportunities.
This event has once again demonstrated that design is not only an aesthetic issue, but also strategic, capable of transforming spaces and improving the quality of life, all while driving business growth.
